2 lights : For entrance or single track.
2 lights - - - For enter in the station

3 lights : Ordinary type signal
3 lights - - most poplar type
4 lights : It's used when the distance of the signals is a little near.
4 lights - It is used between the station and the station.
- It is used when it enters in the station.
5 lights : It is used when the distance of the signals is very near.
5 lights A use place isn't limited specially if the interval of the signals is very short. The put place is an overcrowded line such as a subway and a big city.
Relay signal : When a signal is put at the point of the curve, this signal is put in front of the original signal, and made to warn it of contents of indication.
All *1 *1:When the signal of this point is some limitation indication.
Long notice signal : This signal is used for the one front of the entrance signal in the station.(Only when a distance is long between the stations of the single track section.)

- This signal does the indication which is looser than original indication of a signal by one step.
Replacement signal : This signal is used when a train with a garage to move a train in the premises of the station and which adjoins a station is made to come and go.
All - It can drive only with the driver when the purple lamp of the bottom is turned on. But, a guidance worker is put when it turns off the lights.
Arm type signal : Old type signal. It is hardly left recently though it is the signal since the time which a railway began at.
All - The horizontal position of a red arrow wing shows "stop" thing. And, the arrow wing in the oblique position shows that it can go.
