Because it is based on the actual pronunciation and made, there is a different place from the Japanese alphabet indication in this table, too. A Japanese can't do the distinction of the pronunciation of "R" and "L" at all, and the distinction of "D","J","Z" is vague, too.

Though a hiragana is used, the thing which is in Japanese from the first uses a katakana for the loanword and sound word. A small letter is used for a part in these others. Sound to extend again uses "ー". An example is written to the bottom.

Example

Japaanese : pronunciation : mean

きっぷ kippu ticket
トップ toppu top
シャツ syatsu shirt
ノート nooto note
ひゃっぽ hyappo 100 steps
ホンコン honkon hongkong
なまえ namae name
ガラス garasu grass

2. the "Kanji" character

A Japanese character makes the kanji introduced from China origin, and it is classified in the hieroglyph. The "Kana" character was made to do the assistance of the kanji with showing Japanese sound.
